Linear accelerators are too important to remain artisanal.
Pulse Industries was founded in 2024 to solve a manufacturing problem that had constrained an entire industry for three decades. Industrial linear accelerators work. They've always worked. Nobody could build enough of them. So we built a factory.
From national labs to a factory floor.
Dr. Eric Burgett spent 25 years at America's premier national laboratories: Los Alamos, Lawrence Livermore, Idaho National Lab. He designed, built, and commissioned dozens of industrial linear accelerators. He watched a technology that could sterilize medical devices, purify water, and make food safe remain stuck at artisanal production volumes because nobody had figured out how to manufacture them at scale.
In 2024, he founded Pulse Industries to fix that. Not a research lab. Not a consulting firm. A manufacturing company. With a factory.
Pulse's 278,000 square foot facility at Marianna Airport Industrial Park in Florida is the world's first factory designed from the ground up for mass production of industrial linear accelerators. Capacity: 100+ units per year. Partly powered by behind-the-meter solar.
Replace the toxic industrial complex. With electricity.
Medical devices sterilized with carcinogenic gas. Drinking water contaminated with forever chemicals. Food fumigated with ozone-depleting pesticides. Oil refined through processes that emit benzene and sulfur dioxide.
These industries all share a common problem: the processing methods that make their products safe or usable are themselves toxic. Pulse exists to replace each of them with clean, electricity-powered electron beam processing.
One platform. Five industries. Zero chemicals.
Designed, engineered, and built in America.
Pulse is an American manufacturer. Our accelerators are designed in Florida, engineered by American physicists and engineers, and built by American welders, machinists, and technicians at our Marianna facility.
In an industry historically dominated by a Belgian company and a Canadian company now owned by a conglomerate, Pulse is the only independent, U.S.-based manufacturer of industrial linear accelerators.
We're creating skilled manufacturing jobs in the Florida Panhandle, building critical industrial infrastructure on American soil.
Certified. Licensed. Registered. Accredited.
This is not a startup that plans to get certified someday. Pulse holds these credentials today.
